Linepost. Get started

Hosted PBX · Built and run in Australia

Your phone system,
simplified.

Linepost runs your business phones in the cloud — call queues, call menus, a softphone in every browser, and one portal written in plain English. Sign up and set it up yourself this afternoon, or we’ll do it with you.

000 always works · Your numbers stay yours · Data stays onshore

Routing like this is what you build in the portal — in plain English.

Everything a phone system should do.
None of the fuss.

Linepost speaks plain English. Nothing here needs a phone technician to switch on — it’s all wizards, sensible defaults, and settings you can actually read.

Call menus & hours

“Press 1 for sales.” Business hours, greetings and menus set up in one wizard — record a greeting in your browser, upload one, or have AI read your script.

Call queues

Fair ringing, hold announcements, and agents who log in and out. A live view of who’s on a call, who’s paused, and how long callers are waiting.

Softphone in the browser

Answer on your laptop with a headset, or on your mobile. Desk phones are supported too — but nobody has to have one.

Wallboard on a TV

Waiting, answered, missed, who’s free — the day’s calls on a screen the whole team can see, updating live.

Reports that make sense

Thirteen ready-made reports — including the missed calls nobody rang back — exported to PDF or Excel, or emailed on a schedule.

AI receptionist

When nobody can pick up, an AI answers politely, takes a message, handles simple questions, and sends you the caller’s details straight away.

Works with Microsoft 365 & Google

Staff sign in with the account they already have. Import your directory and new starters get a working phone in minutes.

Fax, sorted

Faxes arrive as PDFs in your inbox. Send one by emailing a PDF back. Yes, some industries still fax — we make it painless.

Coming off 3CX?
Bring the lot.

If 3CX’s licensing changes have you looking around, you’re in familiar company. We rebuild your extensions, queues, call menus and after-hours rules on Linepost — including the rules everyone forgot were there. Our biggest migration to date: 850 extensions.

Talk through your migration
  1. 1

    We audit what you have

Every extension, queue, menu and forgotten after-hours rule, written down before anything moves.

  2. 2

    We build it alongside

Your Linepost system runs in parallel with 3CX. Test it with real calls before anyone switches.

  3. 3

Numbers move when you say go

Cutover is scheduled, rehearsed and reversible. Your callers never notice.

Built for Australia,
not localised to it.

Emergency calls always work

Triple Zero bypasses every menu, queue and rule, and always goes straight out. Not configurable — deliberately.

13 · 1300 · 1800

Australian dialling, done

Local, mobile, service numbers and international barring come pre-configured. Dial plans are our problem, not yours.

AU region

Your data stays onshore

Calls, recordings and reports live in Australian data centres and stay there.

AEST/AEDT

Local people answer

Support comes from the team that runs the platform, in your timezone — not a ticket queue on the other side of the world.

Agent-ready.
All the way down.

Everything the portal can do, the API can do — people, queues, receptionists, greetings, reports, live agent state. Point an AI agent at your phone system, say what you want in plain English, and let it do the clicking. The docs are written for agents as much as humans, with an OpenAPI contract for the machines.

Scoped

One token, one customer

A token can only ever reach the customer it was issued for. An agent holding the wrong token fails on its first call — it can’t wander.

Honest writes

Done means live

Changes to the phone system return an operation your agent polls. Completed means live on the phones; failed says why.

Your call

Read-only when you want it

Owners and admins issue tokens from the portal — including read-only and expiring ones for the cautious.

On record

Everything audit-logged

Every change records the token that made it and who it acts for, right beside the changes humans make.

Pay for lines, not people.

Linepost is priced per simultaneous call, not per user. Ten people who are rarely on the phone at the same moment shouldn’t pay ten licences. Keep your current numbers and carrier — Linepost works with the major Australian SIP providers — and add features only if you want them.

Two ways to start.
Both easy.

Self-serve

Set it up yourself

Create your account and the portal walks you through the rest — add your people, connect a number, record a greeting, done. Wizards and plain English the whole way; you can go from sign-up to taking calls in an afternoon.
